Face Paint

If you love Halloween as much as I do, invest in a professional quality set of face paints. They will also come in handy for children's parties or theme days at school.

Mehron is great brand to go with. The quality is high and they are easy to use. I love love love this large set if professional face paint palettes. It has a great color selection and is so easy to use. Merely wet a paint brush and rub it into the color you want adding a little more water if desired.

For our Day of the Dead make-up we used Mehron's Clown White cream to create a pale base, and then followed with some black Sephora eyeliner around each eye. I painted flower petals around our eyes using a red from the Mehron Palette. Noses were done with a eye liner as well. I went over the black eye liner with some shimmery black eye shadow to give them more depth. Teeth, flower outlines and spider webs were done with a liquid liner. Our makeup stood up all night! Using professional quality products makes a difference.

This particular costumer make-up is a bit tricky and takes time. Look up some you tube videos to watch tutorials (there are many), then come up with your own design and be sure to do a practice run before the big day.

We went all out last Halloween, but these kits are great for even simple halloween make-up goals.
